Using UX research and data insights to develop a highly adoptable mobile app for a luxury car manufacturer

Background

Our client, one of the top 5 super car brands in the World, sought to align with the Electric Vehicle (EV) revolution by redesigning their existing mobile app. The goal was to create an app that reflects the brand's commitment to innovation, sustainability, exclusivity, and modern automotive trends.

What We Did

• Project Management: ensured the redesign aligned with the EV movement worldwide

• Design workshops: defined key features and success factors with loyal customers of the brand

• UX Research: carried out a user experience research, wireframing, journey mapping, and prototyping, focusing on seamless integration with the EV ecosystem

• User Testing: we used the participatory design model to test our designs with the end-users during the 1-hour sessions. we asked the users to complete various flows under different scenarios by employing the ‘think aloud protocol’ to get to know their mental model and usability of the end product as they are completing each scenario.

• Innovative Features: the app includes unique features promoting a sustainable and efficient user experience, with one-touch access to nearest charging points, remote control functionalities, and more
